  • 🚀 Cohorted Day X LTV - You can now compare the revenue growth over time of different cohorts of users directly in the LTV report! Choose from a number of D1/D3/etc benchmark dates and easily run comparisons between different months, channels, and more.

  • 🚀 Weekly & Monthly Grouping - Choose weekly or monthly grouping in reporting to build larger cohorts for comparison or give you a higher level view of your performance over time.

  • 2023 SOC2 Audit Completed - Our 2023 SOC2 audit has been finalized! Please let your Account Manager know if you would like a copy to review.

  • SAML SSO Improvements - We have made several improvements to our SAML Single Sign-On feature including the ability to restrict an entire email domain to a specific IdP. This greatly simplifies the process of inviting new users when working with SSO - just send them a standard invite through the Gamesight Console and we will automatically guide them through the rest!

  • 🛠 Hidden reporting columns - Manually hidden Goal columns in reports used to reset any time you changes the groups or metrics in your reports. This has been fixed so you don't have to continually re-hide columns as you fine tune your report.

  • 🚀 Lifetime Goals in Reports - Have you ever wondered how many lifetime tutorial completes or purchases were made by a player cohort? Wonder no longer! When running LTV reports, you can now pull each cohort's lifetime goal counts, in addition to revenue.

  • 🚀 Names in S3 Exports - Our S3 Data Delivery pipelines have been upgraded to include human friendly Campaign, Ad Group, Ad, etc names! If you have an existing delivery pipeline, contact your account manager to get names added to your feed.

  • 🚀 Docs Translation - Our documentation can now be viewed in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and French! Simply use the language selector in the top right of the page.

  • Snap integration - Our Snapchat postback integration has been revised to allow for additional matching parameters to improve match rates and optimization while running Snap campaigns. Check out the linked documentation for more details.

  • 🛠 Tracker UTF-8 Character Support - Fixed an issue where if you used UTF-8 characters in your Tracker name during creation the automatically generated Tracker ID could lead to conflicting rows in reporting. You can now use UTF-8 characters freely when creating Trackers!

  • 🛠 Influencer Analytics with multi-game links - Social platforms such as Twitch or Youtube may have more than one ID for a given Game over time. In these cases Gamesight now automatically merges those links together and provides a selector to let you pull analytics and run discoveries for each ID.

  • 🚀 API Payload in Reports - Build reporting API calls directly through the Console UI with the new option to copy API payload in the report builder. This enables developers (or marketers) to quickly create the report they want in the Gamesight UI and replicate it programmatically!

  • Creative Name for Google Ads - Creative names are now automatically synced to reporting for Google Ads campaigns, saving you effort of manually mapping Ad IDs to names when building reports.

  • Influencer Profile Performance - We've made some significant improvements to influencer profiles and they now load 3x faster overall!

  • 🚀 Multitouch Model Controls - There are new "Multitouch Model" controls available in reports to let you select between viewing First Touch, Last Touch, Linear, Positional, and Time Decay models in real time. Quickly get deeper understanding of how your marketing channels influence the player journey, in addition to our existing assist and deeper S3 reporting options.

  • 🚀 Late ID Binding - Many games have several identities that may be linked over time or delayed registration where users may begin playing the game without registration. Anonymous events have supported this flow previously, but now with Late ID Binding attribution will automatically reprocess previous events with the new User ID after the user signs up/in for improved match quality and clarity in reports.

  • Integration Relinking - You can now remove existing ad platform integrations directly from the Tracker's Integration tab. This greatly simplifies the process and removing and changing the account that you have linked to your Tracker.

  • 🛠 Google Campaign Manager Linking - We rebuilt the GCM account linking flow to be more intuitive and faster.

  • 🛠 GDPR Data Removal Performance - Improved performance on large GDPR data removal requests to complete deletion jobs more quickly and efficiently

  • 🚀 Goal Monitor - We have completely redesigned the Goal panel to show you deep insights into goal frequency, postbacks, revenue configuration, and more! The new Goal Monitor provides you with a single page to monitor the health of your integrations and help identify any issues quickly.

  • 🚀 Timezone & Currency Settings - New controls allow you to set a default timezone and currency for all of your reports per Game. Additionally, you can set custom timezones when pulling specific reports in case you need to align your data with an external partner! As a part of this update we have revised all of our reporting to provide details about which timezone you are seeing.

  • 🚀 GDPR Management UI - You can now directly submit data removal and data access requests through the Management page, without needing to integrate with the GDPR APIs, making it easier to handle one-off GDPR data requests. These new tools also greatly simplify integration testing scenarios where you need to manually check and remove events for a specific user.

  • 🚀 Hourly S3 Reporting - In addition to our normal daily S3 reports, we can now deliver S3 export reports hourly if you would like to build near real time dashboards against your S3 data. With this update you may also set your daily unloads to occur at times other than midnight UTC to help align your data delivery with the rest of your ETL processes.

  • 🚀 EU Data Residency Controls - Customers on our managed platform now have access to a dedicated EU-only environment. You can now set all data to reside and be processed in the EU if you have data residency requirements. Please reach out to your account manager if you are interested in enabling this feature on your account.

  • ACM Reporting Refinement - When working with Automatic Click Measurement some customers noticed issues such as malformed UTM parameters creating malformed rows in their reports. We have added several new data cleaning heuristics to help identify common UTM tagging issues and resolve them automatically before they show up in your reports.

  • Bulk invite improvements - You can now paste comma or newline separate lists of emails into the invite flow to more easily handle inviting multiple users at once.

  • 🛠 Resolved various issues related to inconsistent time range settings and timezone usage throughout attribution reporting

  • 🚀 Report Column Reordering - You can now directly reorder and hide columns in your reporting by simply dragging the columns into your desired order and using the X to hide any columns you don't need.

  • 🚀 Configure ACM Reporting Team - When you set up Automatic Click Measurement you will start to see UTM and Referral traffic automatically in your reports. You can now control which Team this reporting shows under so you can help keep your organic and referral reporting separate from your paid media for cleaner reports. We highly recommend setting up a dedicated team for ACM traffic if you have a large amount of traffic to your landing pages!

  • 🚀 New Match Parameters for Facebook - You can now leverage IP and Useragent information to improve your match rates on Facebook conversions. On average we have seen customers improve their match ratings by 1 rating tier after implementing this feature.

  • Time to Conversion Summations - Time to conversion metrics now show an aggregate value for min, max, and average time at the bottom of reporting tables. This allows you to quickly see a baseline of how a channel's time to conversion might be varying against your average to better understand where in your funnel that channel is hitting users.

  • Platform Dimension Icons - When you add the platform dimension to your reports now you will now see icons for Steam, Xbox, Playstation, etc making it easier to quickly identify the row you are looking at.

  • LTV in Retention Reporting - The LTV columns are now available in Retention reports so you can quickly pull a single report showing you both the retention and monetization behavior of cohorts in your game.

  • Web SDK Snippet in Console - The In-Game Integration panel now shows you the correct Web SDK snippet for your game ready to copy into your landing page. This is particularly helpful if you are a customer with a dedicated environment and a custom Web SDK build.

  • Google Ads Integration Refactor - We have greatly simplified our Google Ads integration process to make it faster and more consistent to manage your linked accounts.

  • Google Ads Manager Account Linking - When you link a Google Ads Manager account you now are provided with options to select which of the managed customers you want to sync into your reports. This greatly simplifies cases where you have an account structure that is splitting different channels or geos into different Customers on Google Ads rather than requiring you to create a different Team for each account.

  • 🛠 Report Views Consistency - There used to be a few columns that didn't save properly when you included them in your reporting view (such as ROAS). This is now resolved!

February 2023

  • 🚀 Time to Conversion Reporting - You can now see the average time between a customer interacting with your trackers and triggering goals in the campaigns report! This is a great way understand user behavior as they move through your funnel.

  • 🚀 Network Reported Conversions - We are piloting support for Network Reported Conversions in your Gamesight reporting. This feature adds columns to your reports showing the conversion numbers reported by the ad platform's own attribution reporting. This can be particularly helpful for situations where you are using Gamesight to send unattributed conversions and want to see the network's own attribution alongside your Gamesight-measured conversions. We are beginning rollout of this feature with Facebook Ads, but plan to expand to add more networks soon.

  • 🚀 Twitter Ads Integration - You can now link Twitter Ads account and configure postbacks into your Twitter Ads Pixel for conversion optimization on the Twitter platform.

  • 🚀 LTV Revenue by Goal - The LTV report has been updated to show revenue broken out by which goal it was associated with, enabling you to compare if some cohorts of users are really digging your cosmetics while others are more into expansion content.

  • 🚀 Web SDK Cookie Control - We've updated the Web SDK to support cookie-free usage with the cookies_enabled option. Normally the Web SDK will set a first party session cookie to join multiple actions occurring in a single session. This behavior can now be disabled giving you more granular control for multiple consent and compliance use cases.

  • Daily Charts - The Console will now automatically switch to showing daily data when you pull reports for 21+ days. This both drastically improves performance and provides a more valuable view of the trends in your data over long time ranges.

  • Fixed Headers in Reporting - By popular demand, the headers in our reporting tables are now in a fixed position so you can see the header values clearly as you scroll down longer reports!

  • Expanded Retention Options - You can now view longer retention windows in reporting, all the way up to 365 days.

  • Time Range Controls on Homepage - The Home dashboard now allows you to control the time range on that data being shown in the page.

  • Web SDK Init Options - The Web SDK now has support for accepting options during initialization which can simplify your integration when changing multiple several settings in your Web SDK integration.

  • 🛠 Table Summations - The aggregate values at the bottom of reporting tables now correctly show the totals for your entire report (previously it only showed data for the first page)

  • 🛠 Scalability - Operational limits added to Web SDK event processing to prevent process slowdown when users had a large number of events on a single session (>100k).

  • 🚀 Referral Codes - Improve your measurement when working with affiliate and creators with Referral Codes. You can now attach unique referral codes to your Trackers providing you both with customized links and the ability to support a referral code in your registration or purchase flows for direct attribution.

  • 🚀 Raw Data Export on GCP - You can now specify a GCP Cloud Storage bucket at the destination for Raw Data Exports enabling you to dive deep into your attribution data using GCP's broad range of analytics tooling without needing to write your own ETL.

  • LTV and Retention Performance - We made several improvements to our LTV and Retention reporting to improve performance. It is now over 14x faster on average!

  • Attribution Improvements for Anonymous Events - Several enhancements to device graph traversal in attribution when mixing anonymous and identified events. For example carrying over attribution matches associated with anonymous events to identified events if there was an external ID link shared between the two event sets.

  • 🛠 Resolved issue where it wasn't possible to add multiple postbacks consecutively in Tracker configuration
